Champions Run for Heroes

SYL Foundation is honoring local Heroes: McMinnville Police Department, McMinnville Fire Department and Yamhill County Sheriff's Office! All proceeds will be divided between these three fine organizations and the SYL Foundation. Help us celebrate and support our Heroes! Be a Champion and join us!

This is an event that provides a healthy, fun activity for the whole family! A 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run for Adults and a 1/2 Mile Run for Kids! There will even be a well supervised KidsZone section for 2-12 to drop off your kids while you participate!

This Event Includes:

  • 5K & 10K Run on a Certified Course
  • Disposable Chip Timing by HuberTiming, LLC
  • 1 mile out: Water Stations
  • Snacks and Drinks following Run
  • Event Shirt (short sleeve-dry fit unisex sizes: XS-S-M-L-XL)
  • Bag-Check Area
  • Swag Bag (including a pass to Evergreen Aviation Museum!)
  • Prizes

Award Categories:

  • Top 3 Men's (5K & 10K)
  • Top 3 Women's (5K & 10K)
  • 17 & under (Male & Female)
  • Top Male and Female Masters Finisher (over age 40)
  • Kids Participation Medal

Online Registration is Closed, You are welcome to sign up on Saturday at the Event.

  • $30: Virtual Option
  • $35: Pre-Register by Sept. 1, 2024
  • $15: Employed Public Safety Professional Participants (Firefighters, Law Enforcement, First Responders) 
  • $40: Register Sept. 2, 2024 thru Day-Of-Event
  • $5: Kids Run
  • $0: KidsZone - pre-registration appreciated

You can purchase a Champions Run for Heroes Hat or Women's Tank online through Aug.10.

*You will receive your items (shirt, timing bib, goody-bag) on Day of Event or you may pick them up on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 9AM - 5:15PM at the SYL Office at 105 NE 5th St. McMinnville, OR 97128

Please, no pets, bikes scooters, or skateboards. Strollers are welcome.
