SYL Kids Competitions will be scheduled throughout the year and will include a variety of age groups.
Share your love for baking and a chance to be a top winner at the SYL Valentines Cupcake Competition!
- Participants must be in the 5th - 8th grades!
- Open to the first 10 kids who register!
- Registration will close February 19, 2021!
- Cupcakes will be judged.
- Photos of the cupcakes will be posted on Social Media along with your first name and grade.
- Top Winners will be announced on Social Media and via email.

Step 2: Bake your own Valentine's-themed Cupcakes. You decide flavor, icing, decorations, etc.
Step 3: Drop off a minimum of 3 Cupcakes on Saturday morning, February 20th, 2021 at a McMinnville location (will email location/time info). You may deliver your cupcakes on disposable items or schedule a time to pick up. Presentation will be important. Please bring a copy of your recipe.
Cost: FREE, we are offering this opportunity at no cost.

- Overall Taste
- Texture
- Valentine's-Theme
- Presentation
Prizes will be awarded:
- 1st Place will receive a SYL Apron, Measuring Cup Set and $100 VISA Gift Card
- 2nd Place will receive a SYL Apron, Measuring Cup Set and $50 VISA Gift Card
- 3rd Place will receive a SYL Apron, Measuring Cup Set and $25 VISA Gift Card
