Everyone had an incredible time at the 2008 “See Ya Later” Spring Break Slam. This two day basketball camp allowed 101 1st – 6th grade children, most of them who had little basketball experience, to dream of becoming the next Michael Jordan. Patton Middle School helped provide a great athletic setting and Taco Bell provided lunch (over 150 burritos) each day.
Pastor Matt Smiths shared a wonderful message and every child went home with a t-shirt, wrist band, a red and white basketball and even bigger smiles.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success, we couldn’t provide this opportunity without the help from all of our volunteers!
