See Ya Later

Welcome to The “See Ya Later” Foundation

The “See Ya Later” Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, that began out of the inspiration of a 12 year-old boy who died of cancer. Scott Banke had a zest for life and a courage that motivates the mission of the Foundation which is: Inspiring Youth ~ Encouraging Families.

Foundation’s 3-part outreach includes:

  1. Kids Camps: Basketball, Football, Soccer and Fishing Derbies are available for families with minimal or no financial burden. Learn more about our camps here
  2. Scott Banke Annual Memorial Scholarships: Awards two McMinnville High School Seniors and one high school senior from Amity, Dayton, Newberg and Yamhill-Carlton High Schools for a substantial scholarship for continued education.  Two scholarships are awarded to two students (one boy and one girl) who attends Auburn High School, Auburn Riverside High School or Auburn Mountainview High School. Learn more about the Scott Banke Annual Memorial Scholarships, sponsored by the “See Ya Later” Foundation here.
  3. Seeds of Hope: Provides resources to families in their time of greatest crisis when a parent or child is stricken with a life-threatening or severe medical crisis. Learn more about the Seeds of Hope program here.

In Addition: Our organization helped raise the funds to build Scotty’s Playhouse-a huge indoor play structure which is available to the community almost every day of the week for free open playtimes, party reservations, and community events. The Foundation does not own or manage the Playhouse.
